Get Started On Your 2015 Beach Body

At Outlier CrossFit, we can get your body whipped into shape with time, effort, and skilled trainers that can help you one on one to get the dream body you’ve desired for years. It won’t be easy, but it’ll be rewarding when you look in the mirror and realized you’ve reached your goal.

How to Get Started

Whether you’re a beginner or a gym-rat, we offer four different options to suit your fitness needs. We want to ensure that each person that decides to start CrossFit will know the fundamentals for their safety as well as others. By taking a fundamental course, you are ensuring your CrossFit success. Check out the options below to see which course would best fit your fitness abilities.

Individual Fundamentals Course

In this course, you will have four one-on-one sessions with a trainer who will guide you through the most common techniques used in CrossFit. You will also receive comprehensive training ranging from basic squats to Olympic lifts. Your trainer will customize each aspect of your sessions based on your goals, fitness level and needs. Your trainer will consult and teach you about nutrition and diet so you can better prepare your body for fitness and success. By completing this course, you can join our group classes to further your CrossFit success.

Group Fundamentals Course

This is the same course as our individual fundamentals course except that it is coached in a group setting. If you’re interested in learning the fundamentals of CrossFit in a fun, group atmosphere, this is the course for you. In this setting, you will have others to keep you accountable and to motivate you towards your goal. This course is typically only offered on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30 pm but be sure to contact us to check the dates and times and to sign up for your membership.

Olympic Lifting Refresher

To guarantee improvement and safety in group classes, taking this Olympic lifting refresher course can help you gain more confidence in Olympic lifting. If you’re someone that’s looking to try out one of our fundamental courses but you’re not sure of your competency in Olympic lifting, you may want to join this refresher. With two one-on-one sessions with a certified Olympic lifting trainer who is focused on improving your lifting skills, you can’t go wrong with choosing to perfect your clean, jerk, and snatch.

Testing Out

If you’re transferring from another gym or have been CrossFitting for a few months in our fundamentals courses, you may be eligible to test out and into regular group classes. Testing out is an hour long session in which we verify your ability to safely and properly perform all fundamental movements from gymnastics to powerlifting to Olympic lifting. However, if we find out that you are skilled in the foundational movements except for Olympic lifting, we may suggest that you take our two day Olympic lifting refresher before joining group classes to ensure your safety as well as everyone else’s.
