T2B Progression

September 25, 2017Kim RussellCrossfit, Gymnastics, Tips

Here’s a brief overview on the toes-to-bar progression. The main takeaway from this video should be working on that bar kip. A powerful bar kip will allow you to get your knees higher, which will allow the transition to the T2B to be much smoother.

When discussing the common faults, I forgot to mention the common problem of not being able to get knees high enough. This can be an issue for many reasons, but regardless of the reason, if you are unable to get your knees up to your chest, then stay at this movement until it is effortless.

T2B can be a frustrating movement and I consider them a milestone in the fitness journey. Just like any other difficult movement, be patient, keep practicing and ask for help!

P.S. I apologize for the narrow picture!
