9/7/16 WOD – Power Clean and Push Press; “The Bunny and the Bear”

Don’t forget to join us this Sunday, September 11th for the 9/11 Memorial Workout and then head over to Kim and Clint’s for a fun/family friendly backyard potluck and BBQ.  We’ll blow up the giant slide pool for kids and have some backyard games for the adults too!  Workout starts at the gym at 10.  Drop-in style potluck from 11-3.

Strength/Skill:

EMOTM for 12 Minutes:
Power Clean + 2 Push Press (increase weight every 2 minutes, aim to end at 90% of Push Press)

Metcon:

“The Bunny and the Bear”
AMRAP in 15 Minutes of:
Partner Vs. Partner
One partner completes 7 Sets of the Bear Complex: Deadlift, Power Clean, Front Squat, Push Press, Back Squat, Push Press (135/95)
white the other partner does max burpee box jumps
then switch once the 7 sets of the bear complex has been completed, the Partner who gets the most Burpee Box Jumps wins
